ID stands for Identity and EIGHT embodies infinity, the ability to regenerate and therefore eco-sustainability.

Born from the magical meeting between Dong Seon Lee and Giuliana Borzillo, Id.Eight is much more than a brand: it is a dream that comes to life in every pair of sneakers.

He, a creative minimalist from the most authentic Seoul, and she, passionate about sustainability and cutting-edge marketing, met in 2017 during a footwear fair and immediately understood that they shared a single vision.

After important studies and careers – Dong between Korea and Germany, Giuliana between Naples and Florence – they decided to join forces (and their hearts) to give shoes an eco-sustainable soul with a 90s look.

Each model tells their complementarity: Dong's clean design and Giuliana's green ethics, united to transform food industry waste into uncompromising style.

GUIDED BY INFINITY

Our mission is to create high-quality, eco-sustainable sneakers made from recycled and bio-based materials derived from the food industry.

These ethically produced sneakers are designed to minimize environmental impact and combine comfort and style without gender distinctions, inspired by the essential lines of the 90s.

We want to represent a new vision of fashion, where innovation, aesthetics and sustainability coexist in perfect harmony, offering products that respect the planet and promote ethical values without compromise.

ID8 STORY

Poster

In February 2020, Giuliana and Dong launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, a fundraiser to finance the first production of their sneakers. Setting a minimum goal of just €10,000, in a few weeks 320 supporters believed in their project, allowing them to raise over €36,000 and far exceed the set threshold.

That wave of trust transformed an idea into reality: the first shoes took shape before their eyes, mixing 90s design, eco-sustainable soul and a pinch of magic born from their love. Even today, each pair of Id.Eight brings with it the gratitude for those who chose us from the beginning, becoming part of a community that dreams of a more ethical and creative future.
