BIOVEG

It combines a plant-based component, derived from corn grown for industrial use, with a textile backing: the result is a soft, compact material with the look and feel of leather. We use it for our uppers: it is pleasant to the touch, can be worked with precision, and supports your everyday steps perfectly.

APPEAL

Agricultural waste like apple peels and cores finds a new life here: it becomes part of a flexible and versatile material that we use to add character to our uppers. Every time we touch it, it reminds us of where our story began.

VEGEA

Stems, skins, and grape seeds make up pomace, what remains after wine production. Instead of being discarded, they become part of a durable and flexible material, with a texture reminiscent of leather. A little piece of the harvest, to carry around.

DESSERT

It is born from the leaves of the Opuntia ficus-indica cactus, which become part of a durable and breathable material, bringing a little piece of the desert into our sneakers.

ORGANIC COTTON

For the inner linings, we use organic cotton, grown without pesticides or synthetic chemical fertilizers. It becomes a soft, durable, and breathable fabric: it is the part of your ID.EIGHTs that you don't see, but that you feel every time you put them on.

GO!ZERO

With Gommus' Go!Zero Reverse technology, the vulcanization process is reversed: rubber waste is turned back into raw material, very similar to virgin material. The recovered rubber is used in the soles OF SOME OF OUR MODELS.

RECYCLED

Recycled polyamide, polyester, elastane, and mesh are also present where you don't see them: in the laces, labels, webbing, and insoles. In many models, they also form part of the upper, along with our partly plant-based materials.
